We are locals living in the Hanleys communities. Coming in all shapes and sizes, ages, backgrounds and motivations, one thing ties us all together: the belief that acting locally is essential and urgent if we are to see positive change on our environment and reduce the threats to human life posed by global warming.
It's easy to feel powerless and overwhelmed in the face of global inaction on climate change, but if enough of us make changes within our own lives and spheres of activity, then it will make a difference. One thing is for sure, if we do nothing then nothing will change.
About the Hanleys
We are a rural community of circa 1500 residents spread across two villages, Hanley Castle and Hanley Swan, close to Upton upon Severn and the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Worcestershire.
